Bullying and Harassment Policy

1. Purpose 

Teaching 4 Business is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive work  environment. This policy outlines our approach to preventing and addressing bullying and  harassment in the workplace and our commitment to zero tolerance for such behaviour. 

2. Scope 

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, clients, and anyone interacting with  Teaching 4 Business, whether on-site, remote, or at company-sponsored events. 

3. Definitions 

Bullying: Unwanted, offensive, or intimidating behaviour that demeans or harms  another person, whether verbal, physical, or emotional. 

Harassment: Any unwelcome behaviour, based on a protected characteristic (e.g.,  race, gender, age, disability, etc.), that violates someone’s dignity or creates an  intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment. 

4. Examples of Bullying and Harassment 

• Spreading rumours or gossip 

• Intimidation, threats, or verbal abuse 

• Excluding or isolating someone deliberately 

• Offensive jokes, gestures, or language 

• Unwelcome physical contact 

• Cyberbullying through emails, texts, or social media 

5. Responsibilities 

All Employees: Treat others with respect and report incidents of bullying or  harassment. 

Managers: Promote a respectful environment, respond promptly to complaints, and  ensure this policy is followed. 

Human Resources: Investigate reported cases, provide support, and address bullying  and harassment issues. 

6. Reporting Bullying and Harassment 

If you experience or witness bullying or harassment: 

Report the Issue: Contact your manager or HR 

Confidentiality: Reports will be handled confidentially and shared only with those  directly involved in investigating the incident. 

No Retaliation: Teaching 4 Business prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a  concern in good faith.

7. Investigation and Resolution 

Upon receiving a report: 

• HR or an appointed officer will investigate thoroughly and fairly. 

• Actions may include mediation, counselling, or disciplinary measures, depending on  the situation. 

• The person who reported the incident will be informed of the outcome. 

8. Consequences of Bullying and Harassment 

Bullying or harassment is a violation of this policy and may result in disciplinary action, up to  and including termination of employment. 

9. Policy Review 

This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure effectiveness and alignment with best  practices and legal requirements.
