Modern Slavery Policy

1. Introduction  

Teaching 4 Business is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking  do not occur within our business or supply chains. We are dedicated to upholding human  rights and maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in any form. This  policy is established in line with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. 

2. Scope  

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and any other individuals or  entities engaged in our supply chains. We expect all persons associated with Teaching 4  Business to act ethically and to report any suspected instances of modern slavery. 

3. Definitions  

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human  trafficking. Any conduct that involves coercion, threats, or deception that deprives  individuals of their freedom is strictly prohibited. 

4. Responsibilities  

The leadership team is responsible for ensuring that all parts of the business adhere to the  principles outlined in this policy. They are committed to regularly reviewing and updating  our practices to reduce the risk of modern slavery within our operations. All employees  are required to understand, follow, and promote compliance with this policy. Any  concerns or suspicions of modern slavery within the business or supply chain must be  reported immediately.

Teaching 4 Business is committed to identifying and addressing the risks of modern  slavery in our supply chains. We conduct due diligence by:

We provide training to employees and suppliers on identifying, preventing, and reporting  instances of modern slavery. This ensures that all parties are aware of the risks and can  take appropriate action. 

7. Reporting  

Teaching 4 Business encourages anyone who suspects modern slavery within our business  or supply chains to report their concerns without fear of retaliation. Reports can be made  confidentially to Lee@teaching4business.com

8. Review and Monitoring  

This policy will be reviewed biennially by Lee Wilkes to ensure its effectiveness and to  make improvements as necessary. We remain committed to continuous improvement in  combating modern slavery. 

9. Non-Compliance  

Non-compliance with this policy will be treated seriously and may lead to disciplinary  action, including termination of contracts with suppliers or business partners found to be  in violation.
